Launch of the New Website

If you’re a regular user of our website, you may have noticed many changes since yesterday, as we’ve just launched a new version of the store.

This has been a complete overhaul that required the reprogramming of the entire site. Despite months of testing, there are still aspects that only arise in production. We’re aware of this and know there are details to refine and improve, and we’re working on resolving these in the coming days.

This new version provides us with a reliable, up-to-date tool for the years ahead, addressing the speed and usability issues we’ve been grappling with over recent months. In the fast-evolving e-commerce world, our previous 2008 website was due for an update.

Perhaps the most notable change is that all user passwords must be updated. This is because the previous encryption system is no longer considered secure, so we’ve decided to switch to more modern encryption methods to ensure the utmost security for our users’ accounts. For this reason, when logging in to the new site, the system will recognize this and prompt you to set a new password. We’re aware this may be inconvenient, especially when we’re used to familiar passwords, but we believe online security is paramount.

To streamline this process, we’ve implemented the option to log in with a Google (Gmail) account. If you had a previous account linked to this email, the system will recognize it and allow access to your account without the need for a new password.

Another major change involves the reservation system, which has been completely reprogrammed. We’ve enhanced features based on your feedback, such as adding the option to join waitlists. We’ve also developed an automatic deletion system for reservations that aren’t fulfilled within 7 days, eliminating the need for manual management. Please be aware that the system will now delete reservations 7 days after the first availability notification email. We recommend marking our email as a safe sender to avoid errors due to alert emails landing in the SPAM folder.

Additionally, there are many more planned changes that we’ll announce as they become available: new payment options, new shipping methods, and a “Prime” system with exciting new benefits and advantages.

Our top priority now is to restore the payment and shipping options we had before migrating to the new website, as some errors have arisen that we’re currently addressing. Everything will be operational soon, and we’ll begin rolling out new features.

We appreciate your patience, as we know changes sometimes require a brief adjustment period.

As always, we’ll continue working to provide the best service possible.
